Pure and Simple was their first recording, and was made by the original members. Soon after,
Wayne
left the group and Lloyd Hohn joined as the new lead. In addition to singing lead, Lloyd
also played bass
guitar, adding additional fullness to the group's sound. With Lloyd as lead singer,
the group released We Shall See Jesus, which included TyAnn's piano and organ, Lloyd's bass,
percussion by local
Bismarck drummer Adam
Halvorson and guitar contributed by Lloyd's son,
Justin.
Once again, however, a new release was followed by the departure of the lead singer, as Lloyd
left
to continue his own ministry of teaching and music with his wife (see www.llministries.net). At
this point,
Kirby Seibel joined the group. With Kirby singing lead, the group released Songs From
The Old Country Church, which includes sixteen hymns familiar to anyone who regularly attends
Sunday
services.
The group was in for another retooling when Gordie Kramer left the group to spend more time
with family. Kirby went from lead singer to bass (quite a plunge!), Donn from tenor to lead, and the
group was joined
by Bob Bohlender as the new tenor. About a year after Bob joined, the group
released their latest project, Favorites. This project is a compilation of a few favorite tunes
suggested by each member.
The latest version of the Master's Plan is a trio and includes Rod (as baritone and bass),
Duane
Isaacson (lead)
and Michael Netzloff (tenor), with TyAnn still tickling the ivories (with the increasing
vocal appearances). They
just completed their latest project, titled On The Way To Heaven. |
