October, 2008 - MP Just returned from Des Moines IA and the annual Midwest Quartet Association convention. As usual, this was an awesome trip. We were able to share some of our music in two different performances as well as experience the music of a couple of dozen other groups. What a way to recharge the batteries! There are preliminary plans in the works to put together a bus tour next year so that we can take some of you with us. The bus excursion will include transportation, lodging, convention performance tickets for the Thursday night dinner concert as well as the two days' (Friday and Saturday) main stage performances and the showcase performances in the Grace Church Family Life Center. We are still in the early stages of planning, so cost is not yet known, but the trip is well worth it if you can afford the time. If you would like to be included in our email distribution list, send us an email at info@mpgospel.com. August 2008 - The date is only a couple of weeks away. We are looking forward to our Third Annual Riverboat Gospel Cruise on the Lewis and Clark Riverboat. August 17 is fast approaching, with two cruises; one at 2:00 PM and one at 4:00 PM. A great time is always in store. And we can't think of a more relaxing venue (provided the wind doesn't blow too much!). Come join us! July, 2008 - July 9th we received Turn Your Radio On! Finally it's here. There are twelve songs on the CD and it is now available for sale. A little behind schedule, but worth the wait. April, 2008 - MP has completed the recording of songs for their new project, to be titled Turn Your Radio On. Now the fun begins, mixing and mastering. MP would like to thank Jay Heintz for his assistance in laying down the tracks and would like to also thank him in advance for the time to be spent in mix-down and completing the master. Artwork is being finalized for the various CD inserts as well as the face of the CD. If all goes according to plan, the CD should be ready for distribution some time in June. Keep your eyes on the News page and see it here first. One last thing, if you would like to purchase a copy in advance, drop us a line (either email or snail mail) and we will make sure to include you on the list. |

| April 5, 2008 - The Master's Plan appeared with several other groups in the Tom and Frances Leach Gymnasium at Shiloh Christian School. The Spring Gospel Sing is sponsored by the Shiloh Music Boosters to benefit the school's music department. There was no charge for the concert, however, a free will offering was accepted. There were also light concessions available. The concert was staged from 1:45 pm to 5:30 pm and included performances by each group as well as a mass choir finale with members from all of the attending groups. In addition to The Master's Plan, Higher Ground, Heaven's Harmony, the Shiloh Singers, Missouri River Boys, the Glen Schmidt Family performed, with beautiful piano duets by Nancy Odland and TyAnn Sinnamon.
